Today, Evolutions Treatment Center offers a full continuum of addiction treatment from inpatient detoxification and residential treatment through an array of outpatient programs. Patients may also participate in weekly art therapy.Having held clinical and senior management positions at several leading drug and alcohol treatment centers, the Founders of Evolutions Treatment Center saw not only a gap in care, but also an opportunity to essentially redefine what addiction treatment could be. Topics covered in these psychotherapy sessions may include healing past hurt, conflict in relationships, communication, self-esteem, boundaries, and anger management. The licensed therapists who oversee group therapy utilize both cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and dialectical behavior therapy (DBT). IOP patients initially meet for five days each week before dropping down to three days depending on their individual progress. Patients may spend as few as one or as many as 16 weeks in our IOP, which allows them to work, attend school, or participate in other daily living activities while also receiving treatment.
Patients can enter this level directly or after completing a higher level of care, such as our inpatient treatment or partial hospitalization program (PHP). Park Royal Hospital’s intensive outpatient program (IOP) offers care for adults age 18 and older who are struggling with anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, posttraumatic stress disorder (PTSD), other mental health concerns, and substance use disorders. Weekly art therapy and medication management services are also available. Within these processing and psychotherapy groups, topics may include relationship boundaries, stress management, grief and loss, anger, and communication. Licensed therapists conduct all group therapy sessions, which utilize modalities such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), the 12-Step recovery model, and motivational interviewing. Typical length of stay is two weeks, though that depends on each patient’s individual progress. Patients in our PHP participate in evidence-based treatment five days a week, engaging in five groups per day. In our PHP, we treat patients who have depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, schizoaffective disorder, other mental health concerns, and co-occurring substance use disorders. This outpatient level of care offers a structured environment in which patients receive treatment, and then they return home when sessions aren’t taking place.
Park Royal Hospital provides a partial hospitalization program (PHP) for adults age 18 and older who are struggling with mental health concerns.
